Border Patrol Agents Are Being Ordered To Stand Down By Obama Administration

Trey Gowdy and the House Judiciary Committee held a hearing Thursday about the Obama administration’s inability to secure the southern border.

The Obama administration has revived the maligned illegal immigrant “catch-and-release” policy of the Bush years, ordering Border Patrol agents not to bother arresting and deporting many new illegal immigrants, the head of the agents’ labor union revealed Thursday.
Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, told Congress that Homeland Security was embarrassed by the number of illegal immigrants not showing up for their deportation hearings, but instead of cracking down on the immigrants, the department ordered agents not to arrest them in the first place — meaning they no longer need to show up for court.

Mr. Judd said the releases are part of President Obama’s “priorities” program, which orders agents to worry chiefly about criminals, national security risks and illegal immigrants who came into the U.S. after Jan. 1, 2014. Mr. Judd said illegal immigrants without serious criminal convictions have learned that by claiming they came before 2014 — without even needing to show proof — they can be released immediately rather than being arrested.
“Immigration laws today appear to be mere suggestions,” Mr. Judd testified to the House Judiciary Committee’s immigration subcommittee. “That fact is well known in other countries.”
U.S. Customs and Border Protection, which oversees the Border Patrol, did not deny Mr. Judd’s claim but said agents have been instructed to prioritize whom they arrest.
“The Border Patrol’s resources are most effectively focused on the border — prioritizing the apprehension and removal of individuals attempting to unlawfully enter the United States,” said Michael Friel, a CBP spokesman. “Our removal numbers reflect that. Border Patrol agents are issuing notices to appear, consistent with law, regulation and the department’s enforcement priorities.”

The White House declined to comment. Spokesman Josh Earnest said he hadn’t seen the testimony.
Mr. Obama has pushed for Congress to grant citizenship rights to most illegal immigrants, but after Capitol Hill failed to deliver he took action on his own to carve most illegal immigrants out of danger of deportation.
He and Mr. Johnson said deportation and border agents should worry chiefly about dangerous immigrants and new arrivals. Those with deeper ties to the U.S. who have not amassed criminal records should be passed over, Mr. Obama said.
Mr. Judd said there are holes in that policy. He said agents have been ordered not to ask for proof when an immigrant says he or she has been in the U.S. since 2013, and migrants have quickly learned to assert that claim without having to worry about having it challenged.

He said on the northern border, where he is stationed, agents arrested an illegal immigrant who had recently been charged with felony domestic violence. He had to be released because he hadn’t gone to trial yet, so he hadn’t been convicted.
“Under the law, he should have been set up for removal proceedings, but under the policy he was let go,” Mr. Judd testified. “And he was let go even though he first proved that he cared so little about our laws that he entered the United States illegally, and once here, he proved further disdain by getting arrested for a serious violent act against another.”
Mr. Judd was testifying at a hearing called to examine the surge of illegal immigrants — unaccompanied children and families traveling together — who have overwhelmed agencies. After peaking in early summer 2014, the numbers dropped. But 2016 is on pace for a record year.
Mr. Judd and Jessica Vaughan, policy studies director at the Center for Immigration Studies, said criminal cartels are using the families and children to flood the border to distract agents and create chances to smuggle drugs.
The cause of the surge is heatedly debated.
Immigrant rights advocates said the children and mothers are fleeing horrific violence and should be considered asylum-seekers, not illegal immigrants. The advocates point to spiking homicide rates.
El Salvador leads the Western Hemisphere with 103 homicides per 100,000 inhabitants. Honduras is third worst with a rate of 57 homicides, and Guatemala is fifth worst with 30 per 100,000 people.
San Pedro Sula in Honduras recorded 885 homicides out of a population of just less than 800,000 people last year, according to a Mexican nongovernmental organization that tracks the statistics. San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador, recorded 1,918 homicides among its 1.8 million people — a rate of 109 per 100,000.
The U.S. city with the highest homicide rate per capita, St. Louis, recorded a rate of 59 per 100,000 inhabitants.
Wendy Young, president of Kids in Need of Defense, which handles cases of children applying for protection in the U.S., detailed horrific stories of children being enslaved by gangs, tracked down if they try to leave and being killed as retribution for crossing the gangs.
She recounted the story of one 14-year-old girl who was abducted by a gang and gang-raped for four days before she escaped. Her family fled to another location inside the country, but the gang tracked her down, and her family sent her north to the U.S.
“These children are doing the only thing they can — they are running for their lives,” Ms. Young said.
Mr. Judd said children wanting to claim asylum can go to a border entry point and present themselves to CBP officers. Instead, the cartels deliver them to some of the remote parts of the border before sending them to find Border Patrol agents, keeping the agents occupied while the cartels smuggle their goods, the agent said.
Border Patrol agents used to interview the children and ask them why they came, and the overwhelming majority said they believed enforcement was lax and they would be allowed to stay.
Ms. Young said the children were likely frightened by agents and officers in uniforms, so the information they gave was not to be trusted.
Regardless, Mr. Judd said, agents have now been banned from asking those questions.

Trey Gowdy and the House Judiciary Committee held a hearing Thursday about the Obama administration’s inability to secure the southern border.

TREY GOWDY: Secretary [Jeh] Johnson testified before the appropriations committee: “The message we are sending to people crossing the border is you will be sent home.” Either that message has not been communicated or it has not been received because the border cross, the unlawful border crossings continue.

According to U.S. Border Patrol, the Obama administration is ordering the release of illegal immigrants, effectively allowing them to stay.

BRANDON JUDD: The willful failure to show up for court appearances by persons that were arrested and released by the Border Patrol has become an extreme embarrassment for the Department of Homeland Security. It has been so embarrassing that DHS and the U.S. Attorney’s office has come up with a new policy. Simply put, the new policy makes mandatory the release, without an NTA, of any person arrested by the Border Patrol for being in the country illegally, as long as they do not have a previous felony arrest conviction and as long as they claim to have been continuously in the United States since January of 2014. The operative word in this policy is “claim.” The policy does not require the person to prove they have been here which is the same burden placed on them during deportation proceedings. Instead, it simply requires them to claim to have been here since January of 2014. Not only do we release these individuals that by law are subject to removal proceedings, we do it without any means of tracking their whereabouts. In essence, we pull these persons out of the shadows and into the light just to release them right back to those same shadows from whence they came. Immigration laws today appear to be mere suggestions. There are little or no consequences for breaking the laws and that fact is well known in other countries. If government agencies like DHS or CBP are allowed to bypass Congress by legislating through policy, we might as well abolish our immigration laws altogether. In the absence of consequences and enforceable laws innocent people are hurt, criminals are rewarded, chaos abounds, and cartels reap huge financial benefits.

Obama’s FBI: ‘Militia Extremists’ Need to be Watched as They’re Planning Attacks Against Muslims

The Obama Regime has made it quite clear that they dislike American dissenters significantly more than they dislike Islamic jihadists. The most-divisive presidential administration in history has repeatedly pushed to further the narrative that Americans must fear armed, conservative Americans and the narrative just simply has not stuck.

However, that hasn’t stopped Obama from repeatedly instructing his federal agencies to focus their efforts on so-called right wing “extremists” in a misallocated effort to deter terrorist attacks.

ICE Document Details 36,000 Criminal Alien Releases in 2013

In 2013, ICE freed 36,007 convicted criminal aliens from detention who were awaiting the outcome of deportation proceedings, according to a document obtained by the Center for Immigration Studies.

In 2013, ICE freed 36,007 convicted criminal aliens from detention who were awaiting the outcome of deportation proceedings, according to a document obtained by the Center for Immigration Studies. This group included aliens convicted of hundreds of violent and serious crimes, including homicide, sexual assault, kidnapping, and aggravated assault. The list of crimes also includes more than 16,000 drunk or drugged driving convictions. The vast majority of these releases from ICE custody were discretionary, not required by law (in fact, in some instances, apparently contrary to law), nor the result of local sanctuary policies.

The document reveals that the 36,007 convicted criminal aliens freed from ICE custody in many instances had multiple convictions. Among them, the 36,007 had nearly 88,000 convictions, including:

  • 193 homicide convictions (including one willful killing of a public official with gun)
  • 426 sexual assault convictions
  • 303 kidnapping convictions
  • 1,075 aggravated assault convictions
  • 1,160 stolen vehicle convictions
  • 9,187 dangerous drug convictions
  • 16,070 drunk or drugged driving convictions
  • 303 flight escape convictions

This enumeration of FY 2013 criminal aliens freed and the criminal convictions tied to these individuals was prepared by ICE in response to congressional inquiries following a report published by the Center for Immigration Studies. That report, “Catch and Release”, showed that ICE officers declined to bring immigration charges in 68,000 cases of criminal aliens they encountered in 2013.

It is important to recognize that the 36,007 criminal aliens counted in this document are a different set of cases from the 68,000 releases reported earlier. The 36,007 criminal aliens counted here are aliens who were being processed for deportation and were freed while awaiting the final disposition of their cases, or afterwards. The 68,000 releases were cases of alien criminals encountered by ICE officers, usually in jails, but who were let go in lieu of processing them for immigration removal charges in that year.

The 36,007 criminal aliens itemized in this document were released by means of bond; order of recognizance (unsupervised); order of supervision (which can consist of nothing more than a periodic telephone call to a designated ICE telephone number); an alternative to detention (such as an electronic ankle bracelet, or other form of tracking device); or parole (a form of legal status). The ICE document does not specify the number or type of criminal aliens released according to the form of release.

Separate information obtained by the Center for Immigration Studies reveals that the vast majority of these releases were discretionary, or even contrary to the requirements of various provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Only a small share of these criminal aliens (fewer than 3,000) were released in accordance with a 2001 Supreme Court decision, Zadvydas v. Davis, which prevents ICE from indefinitely detaining certain aliens whose countries will not accept them back. (See “Reining in Zadvydas v. Davis”.) Another small number may have been offered parole or legal status, either in exchange for their cooperation with ICE or another law enforcement agency in connection with a criminal prosecution, or because of another compelling public interest.

This document raises questions about the Obama administration’s management of enforcement resources, as well as its enforcement plans and priorities. For instance, a series of directives to ICE agents and officers known as “prosecutorial discretion”, and the implementation of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, have made certain broad categories of illegal aliens off-limits for enforcement. These policies have forced ICE officers in the field to avoid or cease deportation action in thousands of cases, even in cases of aliens charged with or convicted of crimes. ICE officers have testified in federal court that some arrested aliens have claimed to be eligible for DACA knowing that they likely will be released from custody and from immigration charges without verification of their claims. ICE should be asked to disclose how many and which of the 36,007 criminal alien releases occurred due to these recent policy changes.

In addition, over the last year certain advocacy groups have called for the Obama administration to scale back the number of deportations or halt them altogether. A number of criminal aliens in detention while awaiting completion of deportation proceedings have been the subject of petition campaigns, prayer vigils, demonstrations, and other forms of protest against enforcement. Typically these protests occur on behalf of a criminal alien who has family members in the United States. ICE should be asked to disclose how many of these releases came after such appeals were made on behalf of criminal aliens.

These figures call into question President Obama’s request to Congress for permission to reduce immigration detention capacity by 10 percent in favor of permission to make wider use of experimental alternatives to detention. These alternatives already are subject to serious questions about their efficacy and cost, and ICE’s methodology for evaluating the results needs to be carefully scrutinized. The reduced detention bed-space request, submitted as part of the executive branch’s budget plan, comes at a time in which ICE’s detention space needs are expanding due to rapidly increasing illegal arrivals along parts of the southwest border and continued high numbers of criminal aliens encountered by agents in the interior. The news that ICE released so many criminal aliens convicted of so many serious and violent crimes suggests that ICE could use more detention capacity, not less, in order to prevent further harm to the public from these individuals. ICE should be asked to track and disclose what additional crimes may have been committed by these individuals after their release.

ICE devotes very few resources to victim assistance and notification programs, and these meager efforts are focused primarily on helping victims of human trafficking rather than those who have been harmed by alien criminals. In fact, the only “ombudsman” type of position ICE has established — and maintained even in the face of specific congressional de-funding of the position — focuses on aiding illegal aliens, not their victims. ICE should establish a notification system, modeled on the most successful federal, state, or local victim-witness assistance programs, to alert the victims of alien criminals, local law enforcement agencies, and the public when violent or dangerous criminal aliens are released from its custody.

The criminal aliens released in 2013 had more than 300 convictions for “flight escape,” indicating that they had a prior history of fleeing from authorities. Experience (and common sense) suggests that such individuals would be poor candidates for release while awaiting possible deportation. Studies have shown that fewer than a quarter of deportable aliens who are released from custody while awaiting the outcome of immigration proceedings will show up for immigration court to finish their case. The departments of Homeland Security and Justice should be asked to disclose how many of these criminal aliens became fugitives after their release from ICE custody.

The revelation that 36,007 criminal aliens were released from ICE custody in 2013, an average of nearly 100 per day, is shocking, and could further shake public faith in the effectiveness of current immigration enforcement policies. This information is sure to raise concerns that, despite professions of a focus on removal of criminal aliens, Obama administration policies frequently have allowed political considerations to trump public safety factors and, as a result, aliens with serious criminal convictions have been allowed to return to the streets instead of being removed to their home countries.

DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson is on the verge of announcing the results of a review of deportation policies, ordered by the president in response to immigrant advocacy group protests. Most observers believe this review will result in policy changes to further expand the number and categories of illegal aliens who effectively are exempt from immigration enforcement and, if experience is a guide, will further increase the number of criminal aliens who are released instead of deported. Lawmakers and the public must insist that DHS fully disclose and be held accountable for the public safety impact of any additional deportation policy changes.

DHS released another 30,000 criminal aliens onto streets

– The Washington Times – Wednesday, March 18, 2015

Federal immigration officers released another 30,000 immigrants with criminal records last year, following the 36,000 it released in 2013, the government announced Wednesday — though it promised to take steps to cut down on the problem.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the agency that handles detention and removal of illegal immigrants, said it will no longer allow overcrowding to be the main reason a dangerous illegal immigrant is released, and will require a top supervisor to approve the cases of any serious criminals that officers want to release.

Overall, ICE released 30,558 criminal aliens in fiscal year 2014, which is down from the 36,007 criminals released a year before.

The 2013 releases prompted an outcry, and the latest news that the releases continue is likely to renew the calls for ICE to get a handle on its actions.

New ICE Director Sarah R. Saldana said the number “still concerns me.”

“I am determined to continue to take every possible measure to ensure the public’s safety and the removal of dangerous criminals,” she said in announcing the new steps.

ICE said it had little discretion over most of the criminals it released. The agency said that under a previous court decision, immigrants whose home countries won’t take them back cannot be held indefinitely, so they have to be released after a period of time.

Republicans in Congress have proposed rewriting the law to allow for longer detention of serious criminals, and they have called on the Obama administration to use existing powers to deny visas to leaders of countries that refuse to take their citizens back.

But the administration has declined to take those steps.

Those released from custody are generally supposed to be monitored, and Ms. Saldana vowed to stiffen those procedures to try to ensure those that are released are not able to commit new crimes.

ICE didn’t release a breakdown of criminal offenses of the new 30,000 on Wednesday, but among the 36,000 released in 2013 were 193 homicide convictions, 426 sexual assault convictions, 303 kidnapping convictions and 16,070 convictions for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

ICE said that most of the homicide convictions were court-ordered.

Jessica Vaughan, policy director at the Center for Immigration Studies, which exposed the first batch of 36,000 releases, said Wednesday that giving supervisors more review of each case isn’t a solution, it’s the root of the problem.

“In fact, it’s the supervisors who are ordering the releases, and the intent of the supervision is to make sure that officers in the field are not detaining people — not the other way around,” she said. “The problem is most definitely the policies, not the officers. Creating more levels of review and red tape is not going to solve that problem.”

She said having more supervision of those released is a good step, but said it’s even more cost-effective to use expedited removal to kick criminals out of the country faster. She said ICE’s own analysis has found that using alternatives to detention, such as electronic monitoring or a phone-in system, turns out to be expensive because it results in drawn-out cases and more fugitives who abscond.

Ms. Vaughan said one reason for the drop from 36,000 to about 30,000 is because immigration agents are arresting and detaining fewer aliens in the first place, thanks to President Obama’s new immigration plans.

Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson late last year acknowledged the high number of releases for a second year in a row.

“I believe it should be lower,” he said.

Mr. Johnson said money should never be a reason for releasing someone with a serious criminal record back onto the streets.

The Second Amendment Militia ~ Rescue Liberty

The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution reads, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

Today is kind of special to me. This is the one year aniversary of clicking a button on facebook and sending out a message to The American Patriots to help halt the invasion and secure the border beginning with The Laredo Texas crossing.. We were gonna build a fence and defend the southern border since the federal government wasnt. Texas wasn’t either. We chose Laredo due to some particularly ugly intel we recieved from militia recon there.

I called Texas Governor Perry office several times warning them of what was going on down here. That large groups of women and children were being sent thru to surrender themselves to border patrol as a diversion to tie up our borderpatrolmen while the real bad guys come waltzing in unhindered at a different location. Our Honorable Border Patrolmen were too busy making P,B & J sandwiches and changing dirty diapers than doing what they love to do which is defend the border.. I got sick of it…
I got sick of our Border Patrol having their hands tied by federal mandates that facilitated the invasion and the invaders.. Thank you Eric Holder you p.o.s. I hope I live long enough to see him hang for his crimes against America and We The People… Mr Fast and Furious who got Brian Terry killed along with at least 30 other people from both sides of the border with his gun running schemes and aiding the enemy.
I tagged governor perry with it and as many sheriffs and militias as i could find on facebook and I found a bunch!! This is the text of the original alert: The American Patriots made it viral within hours and it was global news within 24 hours..You guys grabbed that brushfire of Liberty and set the land on fire!! We finally got the attention on the border.

Michael Savage read it on his show Savage Nation and hollered out loud GOD BLESS YOU!! Lol. I took a lot of heat for doing what I did. But, it was worth it and I am still ready to do whatever it takes to defend America and rescue Liberty from this tyranny.. Bypassing the corrupt US Congress, Courts and Executive branches of The Federal Government using the Article V Strategy left to us by th framers of our beloved Constitution. It’s what I do.. It is my primary mission. BUT I had to stop what I was doing to find a way to stop the illegal invasion.
It wreaked havok on my world… The chaos.. The infighting and backbiting that went on amongst the militias and various other Patriot groups.. agent provocatuers and undisciplined yahoos wreaking havok. Lies, gossip, scandals, petty arguments and accusations were flying everywhere. Still there were a few who stood tall and strong and smart..
All the while our best patriots are being targeted and attacked by the enemies of Liberty both foreign and domestic. We learned a lot with The Bundy Situation and then we learned even more with the Laredo Wall Initiative action alert. A year has come and gone since that day. I remember it well. I prayed and cried and then clicked that button. John Wayne said that courage is being scared to death and saddling up anyways.. So I saddled up and America, did indeed, answer the call..
And the corrupt politicians and elitists realized that they could not ignore us anymore. WE COWBOYED UP!

Republicans wrapped up Senate control before midnight, their wish list becoming reality:

WISH LIST —Win seats being vacated by retiring Democrats in West Virginia, Montana, South Dakota: Check. —Defeat vulnerable Democratic incumbents in states such as Arkansas, Colorado, North Carolina: Check.

—Protect Kansas Sen. Pat Roberts from a challenge by independent Greg Orman, a man who could help Democrats keep control if the race for a Senate majority came down to a photo finish. Check. —Fend off Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes in her head-on bid for an upset against Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell, the minority leader now set to become majority leader. Check.

—See former Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown defeat Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen across the state line in New Hampshire. Well, you can’t have everything.

Republicans needed a net gain of six seats to win control. They got that, and more.

On Tuesday, 36 seats were contested. Going into the election, Democrats held a 53-45 Senate majority, with two independents usually backing them. Tuesday’s winners will serve for six years, until the end of the next president’s first term.

West Virginia came first as Rep. Shelley Moore Capito defeated Democrat Natalie Tennant in the race to succeed retiring Democratic Sen. Jay Rockefeller. In Arkansas, two-term Sen. Mark Pryor became the first Democratic incumbent to fall, defeated by freshman Rep. Tom Cotton. And in South Dakota, former Gov. Mike Rounds won the third seat for the GOP.

Montana, an open seat, also went to Republicans, and they rolled up another hoped-for prize, a turnover in Colorado, where GOP Rep. Cory Gardner defeated incumbent Sen. Mark Udall.

Brown’s loss in New Hampshire gave Democrats reason to cheer.

But then North Carolina, the most expensive Senate race in the nation, went to Thom Tilllis, speaker of the state House, in a defeat for incumbent Sen. Kay Hagan, and it was game over for the Democratic majority.

In Kansas, Roberts won re-election despite a strong push by Orman in a state where the Democratic candidate dropped out. Roberts found himself in an unexpectedly close race after he came under fire for being out of touch with the state.

Georgia, another question mark, also stayed in the GOP column.

Republican state Sen. Joni Ernst defeated Democratic U.S. Rep. Bruce Braley in a feisty contest enlivened with TV ads about castrating hogs. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada had called the outcome of that race critical. But it wasn’t needed to clinch GOP control.

The Republican takeover of the Senate is sure to complicate President Barack Obama’s agenda in his final two years in office.

But it also raises expectations that Republicans use their dual legislative majorities to govern, not just hold up what Obama wants to do.

Yet the dynamics that have produced so much gridlock in Washington still exist. Obama could veto GOP legislation. Senate Democrats could employ the same delaying tactics on GOP initiatives that Republicans have been using against them.

DOJ Drops 64,280 Docs On Fast And Furious, Hoping You Wouldn’t Notice…

The Department of Justice turned over 64,280 pages of documents related to Operation Fast and Furious on Monday– timing that Republican members believe is suspicious.

A majority of the 64,280 pages are outside the scope of executive privilege, despite President Barack Obama’s invocation of the right, House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Rep. Darrell Issa said in a press release chiding the timing of the release.

The documents pertain to Operation Fast and Furious, a sting operation started by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in October 2009. In it, ATF tracked guns sold out of Arizona gun shops. One of the weapons that was supposed to be tracked in the operation was used in the fatal December 2010 shooting of U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agent Brian Terry.

Election Eve Dump: Justice Department Releases 64,280 Pages Of ‘Fast And Furious’ Docs

4:57 PM 11/04/2014 Chuck Ross

The release comes after a federal judge ruled on Aug. 20 that the DOJ must turn over documents sought by the oversight committee. The agency had withheld them after Obama asserted executive privilege to block their release the night before Attorney General Eric Holder was to be held in contempt of Congress in June 2012 for failing to turn them over.

“The sheer volume of last night’s document production — which consists entirely of documents that the Justice Department itself acknowledges are not covered by executive privilege — shows that the president and the attorney general attempted to extend the scope of the executive privilege well beyond its historical boundaries to avoid disclosing documents that embarrass or otherwise implicate senior Obama administration officials,” reads the oversight committee press release.

According to the press release, around two-thirds of the released documents are “well outside the scope of Executive Privilege.”

EDINBURG, Texas—The unofficial boss of the Gulf Cartel has been arrested in Texas following a large raid.

BREAKING: Mexican Gulf Cartel Boss Caught in Texas

10 Oct 2014

Juan Francisco Tamez Saens was arrested Thursday night in the city of Edinburg which is just 12 miles north of the border with Mexico, law enforcement sources told Breitbart Texas.

gulf cartel-boss

Tamez Saez, who went by the name “Comandante 103 or Comandante Panochitas,” had inherited the leadership of the Gulf Cartel following the arrests of leaders Mario “Pelon” or X-20” Ramirez and Juan Manuel “Perros” Rodriguez. Both Ramiez and Rodriguez were arrested in Mexico in recent months.

Tamez Saenz had been a regional commander in the area just south of Starr County. In recent months, however, he moved his command to Reynosa and surrounding areas to avoid capture and try to keep the Gulf Cartel together amid a wave of infighting.

Law enforcement sources close to Breitbart Texas confirmed the arrest however details of the raid were not readily available.

The charges against the man come from the Eastern District of Texas in Beaumont. Tamez is expected to be initialed at the federal courthouse in McAllen before U.S. Magistrate Judge Dorina Ramos before being transferred to Beaumont.

[Watch] Ebola on the Border – BP Agent Says They’ve Already Caught Liberian Illegals Crossing

 ebola-on-border- RGV

Chris Cabrera is a spokesperson for the National Border Patrol Council, a union representing United States Border Patrol Agents. He has some sobering news for Americans who are concerned about the risk Ebola poses to them. In an interview for KGBT television in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, Cabrera tells the reporter just how high the threat level really is.

He says, “Not too long ago we did catch some people I believe from Liberia.” The reporter, Nadia Galindo, cites statistics just released which show that there have many quite a few individuals intercepted from the three primary Ebola risk nations during the fiscal year 2013, which ended October 1st.

Government figures indicate that 112 individuals were interdicted illegally crossing into the United States from Guinea, 231 from Liberia, and another 145 from Sierra Leone, the three Ebola hot spots. The period of these apprehensions was one in which we had a larger Border Patrol presence on the actual border than we do now.

Recent open-border policy decisions by DHS and the executive branch have resulted in fewer agents protecting us at a time when the threat has become much greater, manifesting itself in a variety of forms, one of which is the potential spread of disease.

Cabrera is concerned about the risk of his agents becoming infected through contact with sick illegals and recommends true border enforcement as an important weapon in the battle to protect against diseases, including Ebola being brought into the country.

He notes how some agents came down with scabies a few months ago as a result of contact with illegals and how the potential consequences of contracting Ebola are often deadly.

Agent Cabrera advises “We need to be more proactive in preventing it from coming in as opposed to trying to contain it once it’s already here.”

Illegal Alien Minors Spreading TB, Dengue, Swine Flu

JULY 08, 2014

The hordes of illegal immigrant minors entering the U.S. are bringing serious diseases—including swine flu, dengue fever, possibly Ebola virus and tuberculosis—that present a danger to the American public as well as the Border Patrol agents forced to care for the kids, according to a U.S. Congressman who is also medical doctor.

This has created a “severe and dangerous” crisis, says the Georgia lawmaker, Phil Gingrey. Most of the Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) are coming from Central America and they’re importing infectious diseases considered to be largely eradicated in this country. Additionally, many of the migrants lack basic vaccinations such as those to prevent chicken pox or measles, leaving America’s young children and the elderly particularly susceptible, Gingrey reveals.

In a hard-hitting letter to the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Congressman Gingrey demands that the agency keep Americans informed about its plan to handle the growing public health crisis posed by the influx of minors. “As the unaccompanied children continue to be transported to shelters around the country on commercial airlines and other forms of transportation, I have serious concerns that the diseases carried by these children may begin to spread too rapidly to control,” the congressman writes. “In fact, as you undoubtedly know, some of these diseases have no known cure.”

Gingrey mentions reports of Border Patrol agents contracting diseases through contact with the infected illegal aliens. A few weeks ago Judicial Watch reported that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is forcing Border Patrol agents to serve as babysitters for the UACs. An internal agency document obtained by JW calls for agents with “child care or juvenile teaching and/or counseling” experience to work at the various shelters housing the migrants. Officers from the front-line agency responsible for preventing terrorists and weapons of mass destruction from entering the U.S. will be “responsible for feeding, monitoring, interacting and providing security” for the illegal alien minors until they are placed elsewhere.

To handle the escalating health crisis the CDC has activated an Emergency Operations Center (EOC), but Gingrey points out in his letter that Congress and the public are being kept in the dark about what it’s doing. “I firmly believe the public deserves to know the specific actions the EOC and other departments of the CDC are taking to combat and prevent the spread of communicable diseases,” the lawmaker writes. He goes on to demand that the CDC take immediate action to assess the public risk posed by the UACs and their subsequent transfer to different parts of the country. “I would also like information on what is being done to protect border patrol agents who come in contact with these diseases, what decontamination efforts are taking place, and what is included in medical screenings of the children.”

The administration has worked hard to keep that information secret, though some of it is slowly leaking out. One major news station reports that tuberculosis is spreading at the camps housing the illegal immigrant minors while the government downplays the severity of the matter. At least half a dozen anonymous sources, including nurses and healthcare providers, treating UAC’s at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio say the government is covering up a very serious health threat. Specifically, tuberculosis has become a dangerous issue at both the border and the camps, according to several sources cited in the story. One source confirms that “the amount of tuberculosis is astonishing.”

‘CDC Is Lying’: Doctor Shows Up in Atlanta to Protest

ebola obama emblem

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that a Missouri doctor named Gil Mobley traveled to and cleared airport security in Atlanta wearing a full body white hooded jumpsuit, boots, gloves, goggles and a mask to protest the CDC’s bungling of the Ebola situation without having faced any real medical security precautions.

Dr. Mobley had written the words “CDC IS LYING!” in big black capital letters on the back of his jumpsuit.

Via The Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

“If they’re not lying, they are grossly incompetent,” said Mobley, a microbiologist and emergency trauma physician from Springfield, Mo.

Mobley said the CDC is “sugar-coating” the risk of the virus spreading in the United States.

“For them to say last week that the likelihood of importing an Ebola case was extremely small was a real bad call,” he said.

“Once this disease consumes every third world country, as surely it will, because they lack the same basic infrastructure as Sierra Leone and Liberia, at that point, we will be importing clusters of Ebola on a daily basis,” Mobley predicted. “That will overwhelm any advanced country’s ability to contain the clusters in isolation and quarantine. That spells bad news.”

Dr. Mobley arrived in Atlanta via Guatemala and claimed the only questions he was asked was whether or not he had any tobacco or alcohol on him — nothing relevant to recent African travel or possible Ebola symptoms.

Here he is below.

Border Patrol on alert after 71 people from hard-hit Ebola countries illegally enter U.S. this year

By Published October 03, 2014 Fox News Latino

  • CBP Ebola Virus.jpg

With a number of prominent conservative politicians raising fears that the Ebola outbreak could spread to the U.S. via the country’s porous borders with Mexico and Canada, Customs and Border Protection and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention sought to reassure a worried public that they are doing everything they can to monitor people entering the U.S. – whether legally or illegally – for the virus.

“CBP and the CDC have closely coordinated to develop policies, procedures, and protocols to identify travelers that are known by U.S. public health officials to have a communicable disease and to handle in a manner that minimizes risk to the public,” Jennifer Evanitsky, a spokeswoman for the CBP told Fox News Latino in an emailed statement.

The CBP’s statement comes after Republican senator and prospective GOP presidential candidate Rand Paul raised fears that infected individuals could enter the country through the U.S.-Mexico border, stoking more concern in states like Texas where Thomas Eric Duncan became the first American to bring the virus to the country.

The “border is not only a danger for national security purposes, it is also a danger for a worldwide pandemic should it occur,” Paul told talk show host Glenn Beck.

A CBP report published online earlier this week on broke down where undocumented immigrants are coming from and, between January and July of this year, at least 71 people reportedly arrived from the three West African nations hit with the current Ebola outbreak.

Republican Rep. Phil Gingrey of Georgia wrote to the head of the CDC last month about his fears that undocumented immigrants are carrying “swine flu, dengue fever, Ebola virus and tuberculosis” into the U.S.

“As the unaccompanied children continue to be transported to shelters around the country on commercial airlines and other forms of transportation, I have serious concerns that the diseases carried by these children may begin to spread too rapidly to control,” he wrote.

While the CBP did not mention in its statement how it plans to monitor undocumented immigrants for the virus, the agency did say that it has been on the watch for anyone showing overt signs of the illness and all officers have been trained on how to identify a prospective Ebola patient.

“When a traveler or alien is identified with a possible communicable disease or identified from information that is received from the CDC, CBP personnel will take the appropriate safety measures by donning personal protective equipment, to include gloves and surgical masks, which are readily available for use in the course of their duties,” Evanitsky said. “The traveler would be isolated from the traveling public while the CDC and local public health authorities conduct an evaluation.”

New fears that the Ebola outbreak could spread in the U.S. arose after Duncan became the first person to show symptoms of the virus inside the U.S.

Duncan left for the U.S. on Sept. 19 to visit family and became sick a few days after he arrived. He is currently in isolation at a hospital in Dallas, Texas, and is listed as being in serious but stable condition.

Days before he left Liberia, Duncan had helped carry to a taxi a pregnant woman who later died of Ebola, according to neighbors. Her illness at the time was believed to be pregnancy-related.

The disease is believed to have sickened more than 7,100 people in West Africa and killed more than 3,300, according to the World Health Organization.

Despite the worries that travelers will carry the virus across the globe, a spokesman for the United Nations secretary-general has warned that air travel to and from the West African countries affected by the Ebola virus should continue despite the first reported case in the United States.

Stephane Dujarric told reporters Thursday that “it’s very important not to isolate these countries” as it would worsen their political and economic situations. He says aid groups need access to the region.

Texas ranchers: Terrorists reportedly caught at border; feds clam up (Video)

By on September 9, 2014 at 4:25 am

With 9/11 coming up and Fort Bliss, the Army post outside of El Paso, having implemented additional security measures following reports that ISIS is across the border in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, it is increasingly peculiar that federal agencies don’t want to talk about this.

It has been confirmed through the Texas Department of Public Safety that an alert was issued on the presence of ISIS over the border and the potential for an attack.

Texas sheriffs near the border are on alert as well, like Gary Painter in Midland County, which lies a little over 100 miles up country from the border but is easily accessible from it, across sparsely populated terrain, and is situated on the major thoroughfare of Interstate 20. Painter spoke to the media on Saturday (all emphasis added):

The sheriff said he received an alert bulletin that ISIS — Islamic State of Iraq and Syria — may have formed a terrorist cell in or near Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, a Mexican border city across from El Paso. He said the alert warned law enforcement agencies to be on the lookout for such activity.

The Reporter-Telegram contacted the FBI for a statement on the reports, but the organization is currently not commenting on the subject.

This is a serious issue for Painter, the former president of the Sheriff’s Association of Texas. He said the situation is made worse by Texas’ open border.

Painter’s concern about the open border is being reinforced by more and more new-media reporting. The Texas DPS and the sheriffs can’t be everywhere. Neither can the Texas State Guard soldiers called up by Rick Perry. A recent, very disturbing set of interviews with Texas ranchers, posted on 4 September by Oath Keepers (h/t: Truth Revolt), reveals just how big a threat that open border may be – and how the Border Patrol is reportedly being gagged and hamstrung in its effort to police it. (The YouTube video with audio of the entire interview is embedded below.)

Rancher Cuban “Rusty” Monsees lives in Cameron County, at the east end of the Texas border on the Gulf coast. (Willacy County is where Border Patrol agent Javier Vega, Jr. was killed by cartel-linked illegals on 3 August, while out fishing with his family). According to Monsees, the Border Patrol has caught illegals infiltrating his area from several of the world’s major sources of terrorist operatives (all punctuation in original):

Rusty describes Border Patrol intercepting Muslim men from Somalia, Iran, Iraq, Syria, and says “when they [Border Patrol] take them in, they’ll disappear – they’ll take them somewhere – and even the records will disappear. And I asked one of them ‘what’s the deal on the records’ and he said ‘that’s an order from way up the line, up in DC – they don’t want anybody to know how many are coming through’…they [the local Border Patrol agents] keep records but the records disappear, out of the mainframe – out of the computer – and the paper records too.”

A second man, Rob, an Oath Keeper who has been helping Rusty guard his ranch for the past month, added the following:

[They] had six middle eastern males on Rusty’s property [which Border Patrol was able to catch] … all I know is they were Muslim. I wasn’t told a whole lot of information about it. I do know they had told me they had caught eleven of the same group, the week prior to that, that had been on our United States terrorist wanted list [for acts against the United States] – not watch, but wanted list. And this is the kind of stuff that they are not releasing to the public, they’re not allowed to release it.

Rob continued:

They were caught and they were turned over to Homeland Security, and everything pretty much disappeared like what Rusty was saying. None of that is any public information or anything like that, so they don’t want it to be public. [ the BP is not allowed to tell anyone that known terrorists are coming across the border]. They aren’t allowed to speak about it. The only thing we [the American public] hear about is women and kids… and when they make huge drug busts, that’s what we hear about. We don’t hear about the gang-bangers coming across, we don’t hear about the terrorists coming across. We don’t hear about the violence going down on the border. I had a rancher call me last week, and begging for help on 15,000 acres. He had been moved off his ranch because he doesn’t feel safe with his family there. He’s been shot at and threatened. We don’t hear that [on the news].

We also don’t hear about this on the news:

In the interview, Rusty also describes attacks on lone Border Patrol agents, during day and at night, telling how one officer suffered a broken leg, broken arm, crushed sternum, and eight broken ribs, and how the illegals “stomped on him so bad they thought he was dead, and they stripped off his uniform, got his backup [handgun], his service automatic, went to the unit, they got the tac vest … they got the M-4, all the ammunition, and … all the comm[unications] equipment.” Rusty says this has happened “about six times.”

The problem seems to be bigger than instituting adequate patrol measures, however (e.g., making sure Border Patrolmen are operating together and can outgun the illegals). According to all the ranchers and security volunteers interviewed, including Rusty and Rob, the Border Patrol has been directed by higher authority not to engage armed illegals coming across the border.

They can’t make any contact with armed cartel, or any armed person for that matter, so if there’s an armed terrorist, armed cartel, uhm, armed MS-13, coming across that border, they’re not allowed to make contact with them. They have to let them walk and call DPS (Texas Department of Public Safety]. And they come out and they arrest them on criminal charges. [what’s their response time?] “Maybe two hours.” So, in other words, it doesn’t happen. “Yeh, it doesn’t happen. It’s complete bogus is what it is. …”

The deployment of the Texas Guard isn’t helping where Rusty is either. The Guard’s equipment may not be the best, but the bigger problem for Cameron County is that the Guard is deployed somewhat further west along the border (see map).

The Texas State Guard are in the flimsy, cheap, probably Chinese made watch-towers. They’re not bullet proof, they’ve got glass on four sides and they posted them from McCallen, which is the North end of the Valley, to Laredo, which is about 200 miles. They’re not down here south.

The 1250 miles of the Texas border with Mexico. (Google map; author annotation)

The 1250 miles of the Texas border with Mexico. (Google map; author annotation)

Oath Keepers interviewed Monsees’ neighbor Fernando as well (video below). Fernando says bluntly that Americans aren’t being told what’s going on:

When asked how many children has he seen coming across, he said “none.” He has seen large groups of up to fifty people, and they have all been adults, and primarily men. …

“Don’t believe everything you hear in the news. There is something happening here, there is danger for the people that are living here right now, based on the way they’re handling the immigration problem. They’re allowing these people to come through our neighborhoods and those of us that are actually living here are the ones that are seeing it on a daily basis.”

He confirms Rusty’s and Rob’s comments about restrictions on the Border Patrol:

They’re not even to draw their weapon on these people – if they can they are supposed to just continue on their way, move out and leave them alone. And to me, that puts my family in danger because that [open] gate is right at the end of my street.

Read, as they say, the whole thing at Oath Keepers. There’s a lot more. Sean Hannity’s been to the border with Rick Perry. It’s time for higher-profile media to get down there and talk to the ranchers. Many of them have been on the same land for generations. It’s because of national policy that they now find themselves on the front lines of what is effectively a growing war on Americans and our way of life.

Sheriff Gary Painter, back in Midland County, thinks we need to fight – and definitely fight ISIS:

Painter said that President Barack Obama and the federal government need to take quick and appropriate action to weaken ISIS leadership. For Painter, that means striking ISIS hard at the source: Iraq and Syria.

“What needs to happen is that there needs to be enough bombs dropped on (ISIS leaders), that every time they hear a jet propeller they urinate themselves down both legs.”

CHILDREN map of illegals given away

Revealed: Where 37,000 illegal immigrant children have been released to ‘guardians’ across America – and where the feds are hiding tens of thousands more!

  • 37,477 illegal immigrant children were handed over to relatives or other ‘guardians’ this year in 50 states, DC, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands
  • US government says 66,127 were apprehended so far, leaving tens of thousands languishing in 116 temporary shelters across 16 states
  • The Obama administration is stonewalling Freedom Of Information Act requests for information about contracts it issues to run the facilities
  • One Texas charity has received more than $280 million this year to house the children, most of them from Central American countries

invaders poor children NOT

The federal government has sent more than 37,000 illegal immigrant children to adults in every part of the U.S. who claimed to be their guardians during the first seven months of 2014, data from the Department of Health and Human Services show.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection says more than 66,000 unaccompanied children were apprehended after crossing the border illegally between October 1, 2013 and the end of this August – an 88 per cent increase over the last fiscal year with one month left to go.

HHS released more than 56 per cent of the children to family members in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands between January and July, according to information the agency sent MailOnline and shown in a map below.

invaders insdie obama approved refugee camp

In addition to the 116 shelters housing the rest, an estimated 28,000 kids, the feds have also proposed to open another 46 shelters in 27 states to help cope with the influx.

The crisis has stemmed from an unprecedented flood of underage would-be Americans, often fleeing violence in Central America and drawn by the lure of a White House eager to mainstream them.

But tens of thousands more are languishing in 116 shelters operated with taxpayer dollars in at least 16 states.

Adult relatives can claim the children from the temporary shelters run by private agencies but funded through taxpayer dollars. HHS doesn’t take any action to determine whether those claiming the minors are themselves in the United States legally.

The Los Angeles Times reported in August that the Department of Homeland Security had deported just 294 Central Americans from among the tens of thousands stretching American hospitality to its breaking point.

Kelli’s Comment:

I imagine the numbers are horribly under reported. As less than 30% of 100% are actually children and if by chance these numbers are accurate. then another 70% of the illegals are unaccounted for. My math isn’t great but if the remaining 70% population consists of OTM’s. gangbangers, cartel criminals, mohamed and working age or pregnant illegals…… Well you do the math. The part that terrifies me is how the children are being released so carelessly. Is this an obama lovin’ pedophiles dream come true? Where do they go after they are picked up??? No one really knows. Obama and this criminal scumbag administration are running some sort of giant child trafficking, gunrunning anti-American, domestic terrorist ring of all time. WAKE THE EF UP AMERICA

Those 4 million children muddy the immigration debate, raising questions about enforcement and public services for illegal immigrant families whose members include legal residents, experts say.

“Undocumented immigrants live in neighborhoods; they have kids in school,” says Jeffrey Passel, a senior demographer at Pew Hispanic Center and co-author of the report. “That complicates greatly the difficulty of the task of coming up with policies to deal with this population.”

About one-third of the roughly 12 million illegal immigrants in the USA are women, and most illegal immigrants are married or living with someone, the non-partisan research center’s analysis of 2008 Census data shows.

Of the 5.5 million children of illegal immigrants, 73% were born here. In 2003, 63% of illegal immigrants’ children were citizens.

Because more families are made up of both legal and illegal residents, immigration enforcement becomes trickier, says Steven Camarota, research director at the Center for Immigration Studies. The center advocates reduced immigration. “Once kids are involved, it gets tougher to enforce the law,” Camarota says. “It complicates it as a political and emotional matter.”

Although Camarota says there should be room for exceptions, “the presence of a U.S.-born child should not be used as an excuse not to enforce the law.”

Douglas Massey, a sociology professor at Princeton University, favors changes in immigration law that would allow illegal immigrants to stay legally.

That way, Massey says, the taxes paid by newly legalized residents could be used to fund public services they use, such as education and health care.

According to the report, children of illegal immigrants make up 6.8% of children enrolled in kindergarten through 12th grade.

“We don’t really have an option other than somehow bringing these people above board,” Massey says.

The report also shows that illegal immigrants are more likely to live as family units with their children than legal immigrants or U.S.-born Americans.

Nearly half of illegal-immigrant households are couples living with children, compared with 35% of legal-immigrant households and 21% of U.S.-born households.

Passel attributes that disparity to the relative youthfulness of illegal immigrants.

“It’s a very young population, with a large concentration under 40,” he says.

Where is Obama really shipping illegal kids?

‘They are saying they’re not going to give us that information’

Bob Unruh joined WND in 2006 after nearly three decades with the Associated Press, as well as several Upper Midwest newspapers, where he covered everything from legislative battles and sports to tornadoes and homicidal survivalists. He is also a photographer whose scenic work has been used commercially.

Eyewitnesses at dozens of points across the United States have begun working together to track down where the tens of thousands of illegal alien children from Central America are ending up, because the federal government won’t disclose many details of its handling of the immigration crisis.

The information is being presented on an interactive map published by NumbersUSA, an organization that seeks to return immigration to traditional levels.

Even top government leaders have been caught off guard.

Sen. Mark Kirk, a Republican from Illinois, said he did not know the locations of children being held in Illinois, Fox News reported.

He believes the White House does not want such information to be made public.

Nebraska Gov. Dave Heineman recently said he discovered that 200 of the children were sent to his state without warning or notice to his office.

Federal agency managers refused to give him the names and locations of the children, he said.

“We need to know who they are,” Heineman insisted. “And so far, they are saying they’re not going to give us that information.”

NumbersUSA’s map, which derives its information from members of Congress, eyewitnesses, reliable sources and news reports, shows children are being taken to many states, including Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, Virginia, Maryland, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

NumbersUSA Executive Director Roy Beck told WND it’s clear that the Obama administration’s dispersal of the children across the nation conflicts with its promise that many will be returned to their home countries.

“[They want to keep this] as secret as possible for as long as possible,” Beck told WND.

“We’ve been told by advocates of amnesty that you can never get the people here illegally to go back home. … Actually, there are ways to get them back home.”

He argued that if the government intended to return them, it “wouldn’t disperse them, because it’s harder to find them.”

The secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Beck noted, has said “the answer has to be that nearly all these people have to be moved back to Central America.”

But the administration’s actions don’t match its words, he said.

William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, told WND that Obama’s plan to handle the flood of incoming children is “to lie to us as long as possible.”

Gheen said the nation’s existing laws, if enforced, would do a great deal to resolve some of the most critical problems. But many citizens feel the need to take immediate action, including stopping buses transporting illegal aliens, a reference to protests in Murrieta, California.

One of many places where the immigration battle is coming to a head is Prince William County, Virginia.

Board of Supervisors Chairman Corey Stewart said he’s asking county staff members to investigate how many children are being brought to Virginia and left there.

Stewart said federal officials had not informed county officials of plans to relocate some of the children to his county.

“The crisis at the border has again reached Prince William County. Without providing the county any notice, the federal government is now placing illegal immigrant children at private and perhaps federal facilities in our county,” he said in a statement at the time.

“Although no county facilities are being used to house the children, I will ask the board tomorrow to direct the county executive to attempt to find out more about the location(s) where these children are being held and whether there is anything that the board can do to stop it. While it may seem cold hearted, it is important that these children be sent back home since letting them stay simply entices even more children to attempt the long and dangerous journey to the United States.”

The crisis is being blamed on Obama’s announcement that he would bend federal law and defer prosecutions and deportations of children who have come to the U.S. illegally. That message apparently is being heard in Central America as an invitation for children to come and obtain housing, schooling, health and even legal benefits as soon as they arrive.

But experts have noted that among the illegal aliens are gang members and carriers of contagious diseases, including tuberculosis.

Officials in Central America say they want “immigration reform” in the United States to make access easier, or they’ll continue sending children illegally to the nation’s border.

A recent Reuters report quoted Jorge Ramon Hernandez, a representative of Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez, saying as long as immigration reform is not approved, “the exodus of children to the United States will continue.”

But regarding the flood of illegals, estimated at more than 50,000 unaccompanied children already this year and forecast for more next year, Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad simply told Washington he doesn’t want them delivered to his state.

“The first thing we need to do is secure the border. I do have empathy for these kids,” Branstad said. “But I also don’t want to send the signal that (you) send your kids to America illegally. That’s not the right message.”

National Review confirmed the secrecy surrounding the handling of the children.

“Across agency lines, officials have ignored questions from the press. ICE officials referred National Review Online’s questions on to Kenneth Wolfe, deputy director of the Office of Public Affairs in HHS’ Administration for Children and Families. Wolfe did not respond to repeated requests for an interview, but did email links to the Administration for Children and Families’ website,” the publication said of its attempts to get information.

“The Army Public Affairs office in Washington also referred Judicial Watch’s questions about Fort Bliss to Wolfe. And a spokesperson for BCFS Health and Human Services, a San Antonio-based network of non-profit organizations, declined comment to the Brownsville Herald about its plans to open a shelter for illegal immigrant children in Weslaco, referring the Herald to Wolfe as well,” the report said. “Federal officials have instructed caseworkers, who identify and verify the sponsors of the illegal immigrant children, not to speak to the media under any circumstance.”

The NumbersUSA map notes that 1,200 illegals were being held at Fort Lewis, Washington, and 1,400 at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Its list documents where the illegals are being housed, where more are to be placed and other details.

“NumbersUSA is daily updating this interactive map to show which communities are under threat of the federal government moving large numbers of illegal aliens there from the border,” the report said. “NumbersUSA is providing its members actions they can take to help stop the government’s dispersal of illegal aliens in a way that usually means they never go back home.”
